Kyle and I started the 6.6 mile bike ride from the Camp Sherman side of the Metolius. Going in took us only 43 minutes, it was like riding in an oven it was so hot. We left our bikes at the road and climbed up a big rock slope till we hit the ridge then we headed north across the side of the hill. The rock tower is right at the edge of the trees. We spent most of our day drinking lots of water and getting ready. Climb up wasn't very long, beautiful view from top. Many other possible climbing routes, there are some permanent anchor points at the top. A great spot to climb just a long bike-ride in. Took us 1 hour going out as you gain about 400 feet going back.
