My friends and I left the trailhead 183 at 6:15am and proceeded up the south side route. the weather was sunny all the way until we decided to leave the summit. shortly after we left the summit, it became engulfed in clouds. snow was still in great condition which made coming down real easy. we could still slide all the way until the timber line. the only bad part of the climb was the wind. we ended up wind burnt and freezing all the way from lunch counter to the summit and back to lunch counter. overall a great day. made it back to the car around 6pm.
