W e got to Tlatchichuca at 5 pm, we where at piedra grande at 8 pm, we unloaded the equipment and the food, we where the only ones in the mountain, at 9 pm we went inside pur sleeping bags for a 3 hr sleep. We woke up at midnight, we prepared are aproach bag. It was cold outside and the mountain was clear. We took off at 1 am, it was 0 degrees celcious, we took 3 hrs to get to the base of the Jamapa glacier, we put on the crampons and started to climb the juge glacier at 4 am, we reached the crater rim at 9 am after 5 exousting hrs, we took a 10 minute break, then we climed for 15 minutes untilwe got to the summit, there was a line of clouds beneath us and on top of us. We said goodbye to the amazing view, it took 4 hrs to get back to piedra grande, where we took a nap after 12 hrs of walking in the mountain.
