Started up the Marion Mtn. trail at 7:40 AM this morning, and had the entire trail to myself all the way to the summit. This is a "no nonsense" climb ----- some very steep pitches interspersed with a few breathers. One of the more challenging climbs I've done in a while. Got up to the summit in exactly 4 hours to a glorious view. The summit was pretty windy and the wind chill was probably in the low 40s. Stayed up there for about half an hour and made it back to the car at Marion Mtn. campground in 2.5 hours. My knees survived the descent!
