Never more on sunday!

The ordinary route from south to the Cima Grande di Lavaredo is really not difficult.
There is only a step of 3° degree of the traditonial scale of Welzenbach.
But in the summertime there is a problem, and it's name is "probable crowding".
Books generally don't speak about this, but everyone wont to climb this way during summertime must know it.
Expecially by saturdays and sundays you must attend more or less long rows to the points of pause and in the vicinities of the passages key.
So, be patient!
If you will not be patient, you will have to become nervous like I describe in this story by images!

An history by images

the approaching

our target

a coffee in the morning

by car till Rifugio Auronzo

searching the start point

at the starting point

the first meters

climbing to the "forcelletta"

near the "forcelletta"

near the "forcelletta" bis

many space into "forcelletta"!

going out from the "forcelletta"

and now the central part of the route

we are not alone

the parking areas near Rifugio Auronzo

a short panoramic pause

here is the "fireplace"

the balcony where the "fireplace" finish

oh, my God!

better is go back

launching the double rope

double rope, double rope...

the wall

playing on the wall

well...

at the "forcelletta" again

rain is coming...

old Gigi is waiting...

let's go

see you again!

Very nice "picture story" with great photos - just a shame you didn't get to the summit!
