The Hike

I stareted hiking up the North Loop Trail. I then stopped and took a break at Raintree, the big 3,000 year old Bristlecomb Pine Tree. I then turned right (north) at Raintree and continued a short distance to Mummy Springs. Above Mummy Spring were the steep cliffs of Mummy Mountain. I then hiked back to Raintree enjoying the views of the Spring Mountains.

Once back at Raintree I continued to the Saddle of Fletcher (dips down about 150-200 feet), then hiked up to the top of Fletcher Peak. On the summit I enjoyed views of Griffith Peak, Mt Charleston, Las Vegas, and much more. I hiked up the North Loop Trail. Right before the Bristlecomb Pine by the turn off to Mummy Springs I turned South to the Saddle of Fletcher (dips down about 150-200 feet), then hiked up to the top of Fletcher Peak. It took me just over 5 hours round trip. It was 6.9 miles total.
