A Photo Trip Report

Utah may be famous for its surreal sandstone country, but it has spectacular mountains, too.

This small TR collects and organizes photos I have posted on this site from alpine hikes and climbs in Utah. There are several other hikes and climbs I have made there, including standout peaks such as Mount Nebo and Devils Castle, but I have not posted any pictures from those outings (yet).

Mount Magog

High Uintas

Ridgeline Between Four Lakes Basin and Rocky Sea Pass

Yard Peak from around 12,000'; after this, I descended to Rocky Sea Pass and then found a loose, sometimes exposed route into Lower Naturalist Basin, where I picked up the trail and headed back to camp. The following morning, I explored Upper Naturalist Basin before breaking camp and hiking out.

Bald Mountain

Reids Peak

Wasatch Mountains

Lake Blanche-- September 2003
