Birthday Hike

My birthday September 3 2006 with my girlfriend Shelynn and her two daughters Myranda 5 and Kailah 4 we climbed Sugarloaf. The hike up went well and all the girls enjoyed the hike. We spent a lot of time on the summit enjoying the views. Shelynn was fascinated by Bannerman Castle below us on the Hudson. It was all of their first hikes and first time on the top of a mountain. I had to carry Kailah all the way back down as she was exhausted.

I know not a very exciting trip report for most but it shows its a good hike for kids with a little help and I wanted to share the day.
