Description:The Signalkuppe 4554m is in the Monte Rosa massif. The Monte Rosa massif consists of the 4000ers Dufourspitze 4634m, Nordend 4609m, Zumsteinspitze 4563m and Signalkuppe 4554m.
We started with ski in the Monte Rosa hut 2795m. Impressive ascent with ski, over the largely 'Grenz-glacier' with big crevasses, to the Singalkuppe. the latter part one goes to foot over the steep west flank, which often froze, on the summit of the Singalkuppe 4554m. On the Signalkuppe summit is the highest hut of Europe! The 'Rifugio Margherita 4554m'
Singalkuppe is a Long ski tour with 1800 elevator meters. A classical ski tour on a "ski-mountain".
