Great Climbing on ESMP!

We were able to get to the trailhead in a Honda Civic, but not without numerous sessions of having to push the car. We skinned up to about 8000 ft and put on crampons to about 8800 ft on the ridge and dropped off to the east and set up camp. Windy night. Woke up the next morning and followed the ridge to the summit: perfect climbing conditions. Then skied down to vacation pass and climbed Lowary Peak. Lowary was covered in rime which made for interesting climbing. We were able to ski down to about 5500 ft on the decent.

you guys should be stoked on your ascent. And nice job posting too. No one in MT bothers to post.

I've been wondering about winter climbing in glacier since i visited there this summer.

Again, great job.
