Two trips in Jotunheimen, Norway

In this photo report i like to share two trips i have made in Norway. I did this durring a tour in Norway i made with my wife. I had to do this climbs solo and it was a good experience. I climb both Gladhoppigen and Glittertind(08/07/09)(09/07/09). On both mountains the weather was terrible, rain, fog, snow...
I did both mountains from out spitterstulen.

The trip to Galdhoppigen was the easyest for my, there was a good track in the snow and there we more people on the mountain. But at least i was alone, the most people return because of the conditions. Only at the summit i met people coming from the other side. The way back was tricky with the snow covered rocks.
Glittertind was some harder, i was complete alone. Except from some people camp at the track. The view was bad and it took a lot of time to find the routemarking. Near the summit were the snowcap starts it was a compleet whiteout. My first reaction was to go back, but then i had some view to the snowedge. I try to get as close to the summit as possible, knowing that there are cornices and less view.

The base at Spitterstulen.
