Tuolumne Meadows after the storm

A slightly different composition and exposure from a photo I posted last summer. I personally like this photo more but I'll leave it up to you to decide :)

Here you can see Lembert Dome and other surrounding Tuolumne domes and peaks. Taken in August 2005.

I like the other one better, but this one is still quite outstanding! I have a similar quandry with a Blue Ridge Mountains image I took. I prefer a more distant view, while the SPer consensus would be for the telephoto image. Go figure!

The colors...

are fantastic. I have been to Yosmeite once and thought that Tuolumne Meadows was the more beautiful area of the park.

both are great photos. i like that in both, it the landscape seems so peaceful, while it seems like there is so much going on or about to be going on in the skies....i think im leaning towards this one
