Tupá (2284 m) from the slope of Predné Solisko

Tupá (2284 m) from the slope of Predné Solisko (2093 m) on 12th october 2007 - the last autumn day in High Tatras this year. From that time on, there has been snow up there.

Spruces on the another side of the valley (on the south slope of Patria (2203 m)) are depicting the upper boundary of growing trees in High Tatras (1550 - 1650 m). Some of these trees on the picture are the highest located trees in High Tatras (1680 m).
