| Hiked up one afternoon from Roaring Brook. Great views in all directions. The trail saves all of the elevation gain for the last mile. Definitely worth the effort! | ||

| Beautiful hike. We climbed this before trying Katahdin again after backpacking through the park. Recommended by the ranger (they get a bad rep here) and better than we thought it would be! Great view of Katahdin! | ||

| One of my favorite hikes. We once climbed this with some Swiss Americans. At the base of the mountain we recieved some advice from our Swiss friends as to the intake of water on a climb like this. They were soon out of water and they were perplexed about the steep trail as opposed to well-graded Swiss paths. | ||
