Thanks! It was a great day to be out in the mountains. There was an undercast at around 4800' all day which gave the scenery an eerie, but very beautiful feeling. Cheers.

Yes, indeed it is. The Adirondacks are rich in history, particularly the Lake Champlain Valley and Fort William Henry in the Southern Adirondacks where the book takes place.
