Route Climbed: SE Gully ascent / South Ridge descent Date Climbed: September 6 '03
Debated approaching from Green Lake TH or Twin Lakes TH and opted for Green after reading Bob's report. Only a handfull climb this peak each year. Simple climb, but the South Ridge was fun. We stayed on the ridge crest most of the way, climbing to the East around a few sections.

Day 1 of the 2003 Sierra Challenge. This was the bonus peak after Virginia. The South Ridge from Twin Peaks Pass was very exciting class 3 and great fun. The descent was a boulder slog and rather sucked.

Route Climbed: South Ridge (ascent), West Face (descent) Date Climbed: August 21, 1998The summit is very unsatifying - fairly flat. But descending the West Face with a full pack made it quite interesting. Trip Report
