Wish I had more time...  Sucess!

Enjoyed the hike up to the North sister, but didn't have enough time to make the trek south to the other sister. Incredible view of Longs and surrounding area.

Good warmup hike for the bigger ones in the park. Did this several times. Lot of switchbacks but really cool view from the summit

Twin sisters  Sucess!

Nice winter outing and probably a good summer trail run. No views for me due to snow/clouds.

Fun  Sucess!

Fun hike with awesome views. The hike seemed like it went by very fast. In no time we had gone from the trailhead to the treeline.

4 summits  Sucess!

My wonderful wife and I climbed the three highest summits of Twin Sisters Mountain: both of the Twin Sisters Peaks, plus the southern summit of Twin Sisters Mountain. We also climbed to the top of 'The Crags' on the way back.

Nice gals  Sucess!

With MikeyB. Twin sisters are nice, views abound, nice day to stretch the legs. Tagged N Sis but found a New Yorker talking of mountain stuff... would rather hear about city life than that silliness. Headed south to meet her twin. Made a direct ascent of the N rib (highly recommended) to add some scrambling. She's the shy one with less traffic. Good fun.

Blue bird skies, hot sun  Sucess!

The skies were incredibly clear today, but the heat was oppressive (in my opinion). I enjoyed both summits of this peak, but certainly the higher, eastern summit was my favorite. It's a nice scramble to the top and the east summit is much quieter and more private. Climbing partners: Pat's CMC trip.

Second times a charm  Sucess!

Years before I hike Twin Sistes with my brother from the old trail head, so now I have hiked it from both trailheads. Nice hike with great views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide as well as the Mummy Range and the eastern plains.

Exact date is something of a guess. I was 16; this was a brief tune-up before Longs.

My winter F.A.  Sucess!

After wearing myself out on the Longs Peak Trail wallowing through deep snow with a pack full of rope and other technical gear, I gave up and decided to give Twin Sisters a shot. Although I was already physically drained, I did manage to climb both the East and West Sisters. It was very windy, but not too cold.

Winter  Sucess!

Windy and snowy, which made it more fun. Scrambled around the top on the 2 sisters. Fun day with Eric.

Sep 18 2005: Wife and I.

Oct 10 2010: Wife and I did all three Twin Sisters this time. Why are they twins if there are three of them?
