Typical day on the summit of Strawberry Peak, looking southwest towards Los Angeles. A strong marine layer pushes fog inland. Behind the Downtown L.A. skyline is the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Catalina Island. On clear days you can see ships in Long Beach Harbor, which is under the fog on the left at about 8 'o clock.
