U-Notch Berg

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
U-Notch Berg
Here is physics crossing the bergshrund. It is about 25 feet of 70 degree solid ice. There is a nice shelf to belay from... 09-17-07. The rope on the right belongs to a party from a couple of weeks back. It is now permanently frozen in.

I like the information about the climb and the frozen rope more than the scary pic. Great job Fred!

Wouldn't the Berg be North Pal, though?

Yes, it is North Palisade. This picture is at the bottom of the U-Notch couloir - at the bergschrund (berg).

Thanks.
