Descend from Nadelhorn to Bordierhutte
Strong freezing on the way from Mischabell hutte to Windjoch. From Nadelhorn summit (8:15) very hot and sunny weather traversing Ulrichshorn and iceberg to Bordierhutte.

Up & down from Windjoch after Nadelhorn
Climbed it up & down from the Windjoch after coming down from the Nadelhorn, just for fun. There was / is a wooden bench near the summit, a great place for lunch with an amazing view over the valley.

Normally we had climbed the Nadelhorn, but due to bad weather conditions we made this beautiful summit. Nice and easy snowridge from windjoch.

Climbed with Radek (brade).
Ascended the peak after summiting Nadelhorn. Worth this 20 minutes of effort- wonderful panorama for whole the Nadelgrat. Recommended!

Bagged this little summit when coming from Mischabelhütte and heading to the Riedpass in order to traverse Balfrin and Bigerhorn. View from the summit is very nice!

This is an excellent mountain to acclimatise. Coming from sea-level, a night at the Mischabelhütte followed by this summit will definitely put you back into mountaineering-mode. The climb itself is very easy and short. But the views are incredible. Especially the view of the Lenzspitze-wand and the Nadelgrat.

Ascent from Bordierhutte on a cold summer day with lots of snow. Last 100 metres to the summit were ice. Unfortunately almost zero visibility on the summit..

on the route from Bordier hut vie Balfrin to Muschbel hut we traversed Ulrichshorn. I remember that the 400 m ascent from Riedpass were quite exhausting but not difficult. Some crevasses at the beginning, so of course we used the rope

Route Climbed: South ridge from Windjoch Date Climbed: 22 Aug 2003Very soft and easy "walk" up the south ridge from the windy Windjoch. Uneventful but still worth due fabulous and relaxed view from the top.
Be aware of the crevasses during Windjoch ascent.
