| We Jeeped to Hancock Pass, ascending the west-ish slopes of "Hancock Peak," headed over to Van Wirt Mountain, crossed over Pt. 13254 then topped out on Monumental Peak. We retraced over Pt. 13254 before dropping into Chalk Creek Pass. We were so releaved to be DONE with the talus for the day! We hiked out past the lakes to the Hancock Lake TH, bushwhacked across the northeastern slopes of "Hancock Peak," then regained the road to the pass. Talused-out, thank you! | |
