| This is a nice trip over several 13ers, starting from Loveland Pass, I went over Cupid to Grizzly and than back to Sniktau. My plann to go for Torreys and Grays didn't work due to weather. | ||

| After only 36 hours in Colorado coming from Kansas City, the first bit of the the hike up from Loveland Pass is a leg- and lung-burning beast. Luckily, the two worst parts of this hike centered around Point 12915. It looks like a trail is pretty well worn in to cut out the re-ascent of this point on your return from Cupid, but it looks like a little snow traverse might be necessary if you choose that way any time in the next few weeks. Bluebird morning, 3-hour round trip for an out-of-shape flatlander with a heel blister. That's what I call an easy 13er! | |

| I hiked up Cupid with my CMC BMS class en route to Grizzly Peak. It was our routefinding day. It was very windy. We started hiking around 5AM and got to Cupid around 8, then continued on to Grizzly. I first climbed Grizzly Peak back in September, 2003. I'm not sure if I got Cupid then, so I made sure I got it this time around. | |

| I got to Cupid twice within a couple of days on my way to Grizzly. First time I did not make it to Grizzly due to a hail storm, a couple of days later I was able to make it. I was quite surprise it was a named summit. It was quite nice on cupid, I saw picas, marmots and even a couple of mountain goats. | |

| Cupid makes an excellent refueling stop on the way to Grizzly. The summit is broad and flat. There's something to see in every direction. | |
