| Great solo afternoon outting with Stimpy the dog. Stanley Canyon was steep, rocky and full of ice flows, as expected. I was surprised at how steep and rugged the final summit push was to reach this little peak - surprisingly great day! Loved the views from the top, especially as snow showers began shrouding Pikes Peak. | |

| Steep trail, a little unpleasant with no switchbacks, some fairly severe erosion problems, and loose decomposed granite pebbles on most of the boulders/trail surface. | |
