Route Climbed: East Face Date Climbed: Aug 14, 1999
One of my first roped climbs, John and I found an easy class 5 route on the east side above Elizabeth Lake. We couldn' t manage to make the class 4 exit off the south edge of the ridge, so we roped up and downclimbed the east side. We planned to climb Cockscomb as well, but we gave up after climbing the intermediate summit (Mt. Althuska) between the two. Quite lame for an all day effort, but still quite fun! Trip Report.
"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."
