[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
unusual perspective of Mount Siyeh
Taken from one of the spectacular meadows on the Red Eagle Lake Trail a few miles south of the St. Mary trailhead. St. Mary Lake sits at 4,484 ft.; this meadow perches only a few hundred feet above the eastern lake shore, meaning that the summit of Mount Siyeh (10,014 ft.) towers over 5,000 feet higher. The red shoulder of Goat Mountain is in the left foreground, with the rounded mass of Otokomi Mountain to the right.
