Seen along the traverse of Echo Rock, looking down to the Potomac River. Here, the river has cut some natural arches from the rock. It is very difficult to view the arches from below unless one approaches by boat, for a scramble down to them might trap you between the river and slick schist that would be highly challenging to climb.
