Upper Crystal Lake

I'm telling you, this is a beauty spot worth visiting, even if you don't climb the mountain behind you. I was up on the hillside about halfway to the summit when I took this shot looking south. The colors really made my day. Just to the right out of the picture, Mt. Rainier soars skyward. 7-28-06
