Upper Miner Lake

There are two lakes that make up the Upper Miner Lakes. This one is the higher of the two at 8749'. Both of these Montana lakes lie in a cirque below Monument Peak and Sacajawea Peaks. There is a trail system leading to these lakes and certainly open space for camping. And yes, that cornice is as big as it appears to be. Photo taken June 24, 2006.
