| Worth the drive from the visitor center area/campground. Recommend you get an early start and return to the campground after an easy burger or Mexican dinner in Torrey that evening. Heading out over the Burr Trail toward Boulder was a gamble to find a new campsite that night - we ended up at Lower Calf Creek Falls, luckily getting the last site available, and with nothing else nearby. The hike itself is quite varied in views, geology and terrain, with some fun route finding - really fantastic! | |

| Hiked Upper Muley Twist looking for slot canyons and arches. Very scenic. I enjoyed it better than Lower Muley Twist. | |

| I remember doing this as a loop. We hiked to all the arches in the canyon and then followed the rim which overlooks the waterpocket fold. | |
