Upper/Lower Wolfjaw Spring Hike  Sucess!

Summited the 29th highest peak on a nice, soggy Spring day. We started at St. Huberts around 8am. The trek up was scenic and warm about halfway up but it soon turned into winter. We postholed a lot and got fed up, so we used our snowshoes until we got the the Upper Wolfjaw/Lower Wolfjaw split. We then used crampons the rest of the way up to the summit. The trip was fun, yet had some challenging sections with ice and rock. The mixed climbing slowed us down but nonetheless we made it to the summit by 12:15pm. We then continued down and summited Lower Wolfjaw before calling it a day.

Lovely view.  Sucess!

Third summit of the day after Armstrong and Gothics, decent view, really crowded on top, maybe 10 people sitting and laying, not friendly at all and offering no space for the two of us. Pretty poor wilderness manners...sad.
