At the 7400 foot mark up the Dry Canyon route, I had to kick back and enjoy the moment. This was a beautiful day and I had the unexpected meeting with another summitpost member further on down this snow gully. What a chance meeting in the middle of nowhere. 3-7-08

Over 300 peaks

in the last five years? That's an inspiring record. Time sure flies by fast; whether you're spending time in the front yard with the neighbors, or gazing through the void at some lofty and seldom-climbed cathedral.

Most of those were in the first two years but now my wife is starting to get a bit irritated with my mountain loving ways. Some of those were little mountains and as prominence chasers we would get two or three in a day sometimes.
