A Few Words: I take 3 months holiday each year and spend it mountaineering abroad. I prefer non-guided expeditions to exotic mountain ranges far away from infrastructure and the tourist industry - typically 5-6000 m peaks in the Andes and Caucasus, or lower but more out-of-the-way peaks in the Mongol Altai.
If there's even the slighest possibility of snow, I'm taking my skis with me.
