A Few Words: Cyclist goes to ride the great cols of le Tour in the Alps. Sees La Meije from La Grave. Sits there for 3 hours transfixed. Goes back to UK and dabbles in scrambling and winter climbing in Wales. Leads basic grit routes. Winters here are crap - climber stays crap ) Love the mountains though, 2 trips to the Alps but no summits yet. One day...
