A Few Words: I write a history column for a local newspaper in San Bernardino County, CA and I live in the high desert. I'm relatively new to climbing, and I'm not getting into anything too technical. I've been training on local So. Cal mountains, but I've done Whitney and Rainier too. I'm looking for local climbers to hike with, seems like I'm doing too many solo trips!
