My passion is exploring Colorado's wilderness! I like being prepared to spend a few days in "comfort" if the need should suddenly arise. And my goat buddies don't mind carrying our gear...really! They're actually rescue goats. That is I rescued them from the butcher for a new life of hiking 14ers and CO mountains as this old goat's Sherpa! I only wished someone would have rescued me from civilization years ago to be their Sherpa to spend the rest of my days hiking in the Rocky Mountains! =D Goats are amazing animals and such gentle creatures! Typically they don't bite, bark or chase. They do butt heads sometimes as it's part of their social structure to see who's the dominate goat. They're vegetarians and can go without water for days if need be! And get this, they think I'm their alpha goat! They will (and do) follow me anywhere!? Pretty cool! heh? I think so! So if you see us goats on the trail or a 14er please say hi to Rooster, Peanut and Steve (the ole alpha goat) and please restrain your dog(s). ...Happy Trails
