A Few Words: I guess I just love the mountains, though I'm not a great climber. I set my heart on climbing all the 4,000m peaks in western Europe, but made the mistake of leaving the hardest dozen until after I'd done all the other 40 or so. Now time, climate change, advancing years and other commitments means that my goal will probably never be met . . . but it was fun trying.
