A Few Words: ah little bit about me! i love to hike, climb, and explore places no won else has been. this year my grandpa my ucle and my aunt took me to the Great Basin in nevada and we decided one day to climb up wheeler peak (13,063 feet) it is the second highest mountain in nevada and it was about a 6 mile hike from the parking lot to the summit so we all started to walk up and we got to a bench with wind shelters and the wind was gusting 70 to 80 miles per hourso my aunt wanted to stay at the wind shelter so i decide to go with my grandpa and uncle to go to the summit and leave my sunt behind. so there we went to the top and i told my uncle that it was to windy and i couldnt do it then he went back with me and agreed it was to windy so my grandpa was headin to the top and my uncle and i said when the wind dies diwn in like ten minutes we can head back up so we started again and we made it to the top and i was so happy i thought that whatever i look at i am higher then it. it was an great experince for me and on the way down we so tired. when got back to our campsight right when the sun went down we went to bed!!!!!!! :] hopefully next year is mnt. whitney in california wish me luck :]
