A Few Words: Hello and thank you for visiting my gallery page. I am a self taught photographer and have been photographing landscapes since 2007. I come from an art background starting at the age of 11 drawing cartoons and continuing with my artistic talents through high school.
After high school, I attended the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver, Colorado studing graphic design. It was there that I was first introduced to photography. I purchased my first film camera for projects like fashion ads, food ads and other projects which involved camera work.
I dabbled off and on with my film camera over the years but never took it serious until 2006. I tried my hand at some fashion photography, fine art nudes, weddings, sports, and portraiture. Fine Art Nude photography is my true passion and maybe later on in my life, I will decide to build my portfolio combining my love of landscape photography and Fine Art Nudes together.
For now, I am concentrating all my free time when I'm not driving over the road with my wife, on photographing the majestic Sawtooth Wilderness Area in Stanley, Idaho. Because of my 9-5 job, oops, did I say 9-5? I meant my 24-7 day a week job. I am only able to photograph 4-5 days each month.
I have combined my love of the arts into my photography and I have created a painting like effect I like to call "Painting with Light".
