I had the idea in college to try to climb 500 peaks by my 50th b-day, mostly around the northeren rockies in idaho and montana, and B.C.. I made it just in time and for my 50th birthday my lovely nepali wife, Sita, and i climbed the 4 highest summits in the Venezeulan Andes. we'll she stayed at the camp below. then later she left me for her affair boyfriend and, i abandonned my house/business/life in Dulass Texas (thank god!) and precariously moved back to Missoula. now im focusing on local peaks around MT and ID, planning a multi year "round the world" motorbike trip in 3 years and hopefully i'll still have desire to continue doing peaks. on most of my summits i leave a Nepali one rupee bill and my a.k.a. is "wildlands1", and also "peakaholic". see my ascent list @ peakbagger.com
