Overview

Approaching the Timpanogos Summit
Mt. Timpanogos

This page features the top 100 Utah Peaks by prominence. References were Peaklist, Peakbagger, and Lists of John. Many peaks have SummitPost pages. The Top 100 peaks in Utah is - a popular goal among hikers and climbers in the state. Those seeking the 2,000-foot prominence peaks will be interested in all peaks down to number 81. This link has a page dedicated to the 2,000 ft prominence mountains of Utah. As of the time of this creating this page, 80 already have a SummitPost page.

Others who are very much interested in pursuing the Utah prominence peaks
are Dean, Kadee, Greg, John Vitz, MikerHiker, Wasatchvoyage, Eric Willhite, Andy Martin, Mark Nichols, Jason Hardinck to name a few. There are others who aren't listed on this short list but the interest in prominence is growing and more people are becoming interested in them. If you'd like your name added, please pm me.

Who are the leaders in the top 100 of Utah? Currently Greg Jagielski has done an amazing 95 of the top 100, John Vitz has 91, Dean has 90, Kadee has 65, Andy Martin has 65 as does Mark Nichols with Eric Willhite closing the gap at 57.
