Can it be

Verathrum album (or a hybrid of it as the blossoms seem to be more yellow than white)?
The foliage and especially the blossoms are very near Verathrum sp.

I'm not at all sure that it is Verbascum Thapsus. The flowers look similar enough, but the leaves don't match well at all.

You could well be right that it isn't even a Verbascum but a Veratrum. Certainly the leaves match a lot better. However, as the flowers are such a bright yellow, I don't think it could be a normal Veratrum album because that would be white. It could be a subspecies or a separate one.
