Vern and Ellen enjoy the alpine splendor of the Hanging Gardens below Mount Oberlin. From the flat saddle on the left skyline, the contouring route across a scree covered bench is plainly visible on Mount Oberlin's southeast face, which then angles straight up the face to stay on stable terrain.
