Have done this a couple times, a lot of fun!
First time up this trail as a backpack trip to summit San Jacinto. I have hiked this many times since, sometimes as just a day hike to enjoy the view.
Used this route three times to summit San J and once to hit Red Tahquitz and the PCT along Desert Divide. Views are spectacular.
Nice hike. Done this route twice.
