I have a friend that has never been mountainering befor so I thought this woild be a great starter for him.. Thanks for the post.
Thank you for commenting and voting The area is beautiful and the trail to Ptarmigan Lake is well-defined. Perfect place to introduce someone to the mountains.
Just got back a couple day ago and my buddy loved it. Not a bad hike up. I think we have another mountaineer to the family. LOL
I am glad you had a good time and made another mountaineer. Everything was probably green and there was probably much snow, unlike the yellow autumn pictures that I took.
The summit had a lot of snow on it but for the most part it was an easy climb. Thanks for all your info on the place. Helped a lot..
