View from the continental...
View from the continental head (point 1725m) of Babin Vrh (1738m) towards continental side of Vaganski Vrh (1757m) (middle) and Golic (1723m) (left). Between them, in the distance, summit of the other Babin Vrh (1744m) (one near Sveto Brdo (1751m)) sticks. Baba means grandmother in Dalmatian dialect of Croatian language. When these peaks got their names it seams grandmothers were very popular :-)

I trust none of the Babins are this fearsome!

She is depicted just before the great gate at Kiev

in Mussorgsky.

Don't tell me Bor, I'm nervous too :-) This weekend I was supposed to be on Velebit but bad weather prevented me. Hurricane force Bura is still blowing and there is 25cm of snow, which is 10cm more than on Kredarica :-)
