View of the entrance of Valsavarenche <br> from the neighbourhood of St. Nicolas village
View of the entrance of Valsavarenche from the neighbourhood of St. Nicolas village: on the right the ridge including Mont Blanc de Rhêmes, Mont Paillasse, Pointe Chamoussiere and Pointe du Ran. The ridge on the left starting with Mont Poignon, follows with Beccapiana, Punta Valletta, Mont Favret and ends in the clouds.
At the head of Valsavarenche, one can (hardly) distinguish from left: Ciarforon, Becca di Monciair, Denti del Broglio, Punta Fourà
