View southeast, just before reaching the summit block. showing the class 3 chute and the class 2 bypass described in the DPS guide, along with a nasty rib (NOT recommended--loose steep rock, and slippery barbeque sauce). The actual summit is still 500' beyond the top of the chute.

There were several Easter eggs in that article... maybe half the photos. I uploaded the photos first, then was a bit puzzled as to how to attach them to the Palmer page. Now I remember, so I'll go back and do it.

I found out that if I tried to attach multiple photos from the "attach" dialog, zero attached. I had to go to the "add images...existing" dialog to get them to take. Bizarre-- it was exactly the same dialog, except it automatically went to "images."
