View South along the Yazghil Glacier to the Hispar Muztagh

View south along the Yazghil Glacier on the north side of the Hispar Muztagh. The pair of promanent peaks in the centre of the photo are the Yazghil Domes. Yazghil Dome North (c.7300m) is immediately in front of Yazghil Dome South (7324m). To their left, towards the head of the Yazghil Glacier is the broad mountain of Kunyang Chhish North (7108m). Left of this is the promanent peak of Kunyang Chhish Main (7852m), the second highest peak of the Hispar Muztagh after Distaghil Sar (7885m). The prominent peak to its left is Pumori Chhish Main (7492m). The first ascent was made via the long northern ridge clearly visible. The peak in the far left of the photo is Pumori Chhish South (c.7350m). The small peak between Kunyang Chhish Main and Pumori Chhish Main is Kunyang Chhish East (7431m). The photo was taken from camp 3500m on the north-western aspect of Yazghil Sar.
