View South from Haystack
Ibapah looms large in the center, with distant Moriah to the left and Shell to the right.
The Red Cedar Bowl ahead may either be crossed below the cliffs, with the loss of 1,200 ft altitude, or along the ridge above the cliffs, which requires a short ascent over 45-degrees snow at the base of the jagged towers.
