I remember this scene from August 1980 when I and the assistant scout master from Nora Springs, Iowa took the trek up and over Mt Baldy. It was quite a trip and one worth taking. I had taken a number of pictures from the peak and wish I still had them. I wouldn't mind taking the trip again if it wasn't for arthritic knees but I still have the memories. The sight from the top is in its own way is breathtaking. I do hope that many more scouts would be able to take the same trip
